On The Dot helps customers build communities that feel highly personalized and easy to navigate. “We walk alongside our customers to help them architect a community that makes sense for them and helps them scale in a meaningful way,” says Melinda Garvey, founder and CEO of On The Dot.
Be it a business or membership community or a peer-support community in a nonprofit space, On The Dot creates an environment for users to connect on a deeper level. They believe in a very high-touch process when onboarding new customers, as they understand that each community needs to feel highly customized, unique and special. The On The Dot team uses its deep expertise in community building to work alongside their customers to create a community that is engaged and poised to scale.
On The Dot has a robust suite of features to meet the needs of any community or group. The platform allows for a seamless design of both public and private groups based on the needs of the organization and even allows for groups to be broken down into infinite subgroups to allow for very personalized engagement and dissemination of resources and information.
On The Dot onboards customers with a kick-off meeting to do a deep dive into the goals for the community. Then they build an entirely customizable community profile where information can be collected regarding an individual’s skills, interests, passions, etc. Additionally, platform administrators can ask questions that will not be made public, but that may be vital information for an organization to know about their members. The unique way the profile data is designed allows for it to drive suggested connections among members and for members to easily narrow down a search in the “Find My People” tool to get a connection to the exact right individual. And, of course, the data is private and owned by the customer.
