Chargify now includes a two-way integration with HubSpot to assist marketing, sales, and customer success teams manage B2B subscriptions more effectively.
FREMONT, CA: Marketing and sales platform HubSpot helps businesses attract visitors, convert leads, and close clients. It accomplishes this by bringing together several functions and allowing marketing and sales teams to handle all their efforts in one spot. One of the most popular SaaS billing and subscription management platforms, Chargify, has been added to the HubSpot App Marketplace. The bidirectional connectivity between Chargify and HubSpot enables unmatched subscription lifecycle management by synchronizing data in real-time between Chargify and HubSpot without requiring human data entry or time-consuming reports. This enables customer-facing employees to devote more effort to the customer experience.
“At Chargify we recognized a strong demand from our customers to leverage their subscription billing data within their CRM tool,” states Barrow Hamilton, Chief Product Officer of Chargify. “By using this integration, SaaS companies can easily view and manage subscription and customer details directly within HubSpot to identify trends amongst their customers and prospects that will help their business achieve scalable business growth.”

Prospects evaluating Chargify as a billing solution have expressed a great interest in HubSpot, with HubSpot accounting for 24 percent of new client acquisitions in 2021. The Chargify and HubSpot integration create a streamlined workflow for SaaS organizations, ensuring the success of marketing, sales, and customer success teams. Users may see, create, activate, amend, and manage recurring subscriptions via the Chargify App using data synchronized to HubSpot. Pre-configured field mappings streamline the installation process for users. After setup is complete, existing historical data will sync immediately, and further updates will sync new billing data in real-time.
With the integration between Chargify and HubSpot, sales and customer success teams will need to use HubSpot to sell and manage subscriptions, automatically sync with Chargify in real-time, delivering the most up-to-date product catalog and price. This eliminates any friction associated with the sales-to-finance transition. Additionally, marketing teams can utilize the interface to analyze billing data to uncover customer trends and then launch and manage campaigns based on a client's product usage.
“One of the most fascinating things to me in the SaaS space is how much your billing data can influence your entire organization—not just the finance or accounting team,” continues Hamilton. “There's a ton of information in your billing system that can help you make strategic decisions that most people don’t think about. For example, let's say you’re a customer success manager managing 100 customers and your goal is to grow the revenue of your customer base by 30 percent. You could use the information within the Chargify and HubSpot integration to see which customers are already growing above 30 percent, identify common trends from their billing data that's contributing to this growth, and then use this information to create custom marketing campaigns within HubSpot to guide your other customers who aren’t growing as quickly.”
